Beaches

Ayia Napa`s beaches range from secluded and romantic bays to activity-packed sands offering activities, restaurants and bars. Nissi Beach is the town`s most famous beach and is located just 3km west of Ayia Napa. The huge sandy beach is ideal for indulgent relaxation or sampling exciting sporting adventures including windsurfing, jet biking and even bungee jumping.

Harbour Beach is a pretty, quiet area and situated next to Ayia Napa`s harbour. There is no sandy beach, but the newly renovated port is becoming increasing popular for catching sight of the impressive yachts in the harbour or simply watching the world go by whilst enjoying the sun.

Ayia Thekla beach is 7km west of Ayia Napa and is by far the town`s quietest stretch of sand. Next to a beautiful tiny church, the beach`s only frequent visitors are the owners of the neighbouring villas, making it a perfectly peaceful and secluded destination for couples. Limnara Beach, 4km east of Ayia Napa, is another pretty and tranquil spot, small and well-protected from the wind.

Konnos Beach is only 2km from Ayia Napa, and is easily accessed from the road between Cape Greco and Protaras. It is one of the most picturesque beaches in Cyprus and is famed for watersports including exhilarating parachute rides and jet ski hire.

WaterworldEntertainment

As well as beaches and parties, Ayia Napa offers an impressive range of attractions. The huge water theme park Waterworld is located just outside the town and will keep the whole family entertained all day, with plenty of fun for younger visitors and a giant wave pool. Remember to take sunscreen and prepare to be thrilled by rides including the 75m drop slide Zeus Zenith!

To sample the local flora and fauna, head into the beautiful Cavo Greko National Forest Park, with its myriad of opportunities for cycling, horse riding and hiking, as well as some spectacular panoramic views. The town`s habour area also offers excellent sightseeing opportunities, including tours of the caves, diving and snorkelling.
